We believe we already have everything we need for a good life. We’re lucky to live in a world of abundance but our environment pays the price. Safeguarding the future is up to us and we all carry the responsibility for protecting our environment and using our resources wisely. That is why we founded Reused Remade, a patent pending solution that up-cycles discarded hotel bed linen and turns them into textile bags. We call this product reincarnation. Compared to a plastic or cotton bag, a Reused Remade bag results in far less greenhouse gas emissions and vastly reduces the amount of land and water needed for production, making it easier than ever to do a little good.

Like most of you, we are concerned about the environment and the state of our planet. At one point, we felt the need to take action in order to contribute to a more sustainable world. We want to be able to look our children in the eye and tell them that we actually do something good for our planet, so that they can have a chance to swim in clean oceans, eat fish and enjoy nature’s wonders.

When listening to the outcome of the UN Paris Climate Change Conference in 2015, and understanding the damage and impact that plastic bags have on our environment, especially our oceans, the thought of a more sustainable bag started to grow. In 2016 we searched and found an alternative material, a neglected high-quality textile, discarded hotel bed linen.

“We want to show future generations that a simple business idea can make a difference and that it’s possible to combine design, function and sustainability.”

Josephine & Pia, Founders of Reused Remade

We cooperate with national and international laundry service companies and hotels to collect discarded hotel bed linen and turn them into truly sustainable and durable textile bags. We take high quality textiles from bed, to bag, and beyond. Learn more about this in our video:

Reused Remade increases resource efficiency by extending the lifecycle of existing textiles.

80% of the climate impact of Swedish clothing consumption stems from the production phase.

In other words, reusing material is a really climate smart thing to do.

Help us save our common resources. Do you know that one of our textile bags, made from used hotel bed linen saves approximately:

  • 1,500 l of fresh water
  • 50 g of chemicals
  • 20 cl of crude oil
  • 2.6 kg of greenhouse gas emissions

It is important for us that our bags are of the highest quality, durable and suitable for everyday use.

The bags are tested at a laboratory and manage up to 14 kg of weight.

We enable people to carry things with a minimal impact on the  environment.

By choosing our bags you positively contribute to Agenda 2030 and four of the UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals.

  • SDG 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation
  • SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production
  • SDG 14 - Life Below Water

  • We have chosen our partners carefully and currently have production in both Europe and Asia. We strive for full transparency throughout the production chain and last year we visited the family-owned production facility located in Pakistan, which is the factory where most of our production takes place today.
. We got a chance to personally meet the people who work for us in order to gain a better understanding of the life cycle of our products. Since our factory visit, we are very humbled by the genuine craftsmanship that lies behind our textile bags. There are at least nine different people involved in the manufacture of a textile bag that works with cutting, sewing, pressing and packing our bags by hand.
  • Our Shoulder Bag we made together with @svenskttenn is the perfect summer gift! Made of 100% reused hotel bed linen with the classic “Angel Mark” emblem designed by Akke Kumlin printed on both sides of the bag. You can buy the bag at or stop by their flagship store in Stockholm. ♻️
