We are incredibly proud and happy to announce that Reused Remade has
been awarded a Beauty Oscar in the sustainability category, a prestigious
prize in the beauty industry presented by Skonhetsredaktorerna.se.
Our motivation in the subcategory, Best Upcycling, read:
"Worn-out terry towels from luxurious hotel rooms around Sweden get a
second life in our bathroom. It's never too late for a second chance."
The Beauty Oscar in the sustainability category is awarded to individuals
and brands that have actively tried to bring about change in the beauty
industry through inclusion, upcycling, philanthropy, locally sourced and
sustainable practices, and more. The category acknowledges that new
production can never be beneficial to the environment and climate and
encourages careful thinking in this regard.
This achievement is a testament to the growing interest in sustainable
practices in the beauty industry. The award is a recognition of our
commitment to sustainability and innovation.
